GRADUATE PROFILE

COURSE INFORMATION

Architecture is one of the oldest arts in the world. Its legacy spans generations and the achievements of its architects are revered to this day. We have all stopped for a day to admire the beautiful architectural constructions. Sometimes we are even amazed at the grandeur of some works such as the Taj Mahal, the Sistine Chapel or the Kazan Architectural Complex (pictured above). We were wondering how these constructions were made and we even thought of carrying out similar projects.

The architectural professional has in its range of knowledge the ability to plan and execute constructions and urbanization projects based on criteria such as aesthetics, organization and functionalism. Through the use of the arts, exact sciences and the social environment where they live, the architect and urban planner acts on the environment, transforming it, aiming to improve the quality of life in the place.

With the increasing urbanization of spaces in cities, as well as the numerous international events and foreign investments in the country planned for the coming years, architecture and urbanism projects will be increasingly required, creating great job opportunities. Thus, the architect is being increasingly sought after and valued in the market.]
